Consignment Rules:
Consign and Design Inc. consigns merchandise for a six week period. Any merchandise that does not sell for the asking price after 3 weeks, will be reduced by 25%. The consignor has the last ten days of the consignment period to come reclaim any unsold items. Unclaimed items become property of the store to donate or sell. The consignor receives 50% or the selling price. One check is mailed within 30 days of the expiration date.
Consign and Design Accepts A Wide Variety of Furniture.
Upholstered furniture must be stain free.
We will not accept any type of upholstery with tears, wear spots or fading.
Wood items can look "loved" but not require complete refinishing or repair.
Wood must be solid!
Consign and Design Accepts a Wide Variety of Decorative Items.
Anything that one would display in your home.
Items must have all their parts (shades, batteries, cords, legs, shelves, etc.)
Flat Screens and some electronic equipment are acceptable. (Please call to discuss)
Oriental Rugs/100% Wool Rugs (Must be stain/order/rip free)
Consign and Design Accepts Fine and Costume Jewerly.
Consign and Design Accepts Fur Jackets/Shawls. (Must be maintained by Furrier)
Consign and Design Accepts Handbags, Wallets, and Scarves. (Upscale and Popular Designers Only!!)
We Do Not Accept the Following:
Ikea / Sauder / Dollar Store/ Tree Items / Flea Market / Yard Sale "Left Overs" / Metal Furniture / Baby Items or Baby Furniture / Chipped China / Window Treatments / Linens / Exercise Equipment / Entertainment Centers
